Marketplace items such as maps, texture packs, and skin packs can greatly enhance your Minecraft experience, offering new ways to explore the game. These items are available for purchase, and once bought, they’re yours to enjoy anytime and anywhere!

Here’s how to buy Marketplace content:

  1. Launch Minecraft and log in with your Xbox Live account. Remember, your purchases are tied to your Minecraft account, not your device, so it’s important to sign in to access your content.
  2. Click on the Marketplace button and choose the content you want to download.
  3. Select ‘Buy’ and choose your payment method.
  4. Wait for your purchase to complete, which should be quick depending on your internet speed.
  5. Enjoy your new content! It will automatically start downloading once your purchase is complete.

Here are a few additional suggestions to try and fix your download:

  • Restart Minecraft
  • Check to see that you have enough storage on your device!

​Some maps and textures require higher performance devices to play effectively. If your device has less than 512MB of internal memory (RAM), you may see some content grayed out (unavailable) in the Microsoft Store. You cannot buy any content that is not compatible with your device, and you cannot download content that is not compatible, even if you already purchased it on a device with higher memory.
